WordPress – 404 errors after upgrading to WP 3.1
If you upgraded to wordpress 3.1 and you see 404 errors on your category permalinks, here is what you can do to fix it. Go to your theme folder and, in functions.php, find $wp_rewrite->flush_rules(); To fix the problem, comment out that line by adding // in front of the code or, remove it completely. I have found that there are a few wordpress themes using this code and, because of this, some blogs go with 404 errors on their category links. This problem, however, does not affect your posts permalinks. Posts are displayed just fine. If these instructions did not help, leave a comment and we’ll see what we can do to help you out. The Pine Tree of St. Martin

The Importance of Good Web Design
Web design has evolved dramatically in the last twenty years. Where websites were once just means of relaying information in a rather basic way, websites have now become elaborate works of art, with as much care and attention taken upon the design of a website as the content within it. But having a well-designed website is not just a way for a company to ‘show off’; an attractively designed website can increase a company’s reputation and, most importantly, increase traffic to it. Each element of the web design can help to attract, or put off, visitors. A visitor’s first impression of a website is extremely important. With there being over 180 million websites on the Internet, if a customer doesn’t like what they see within a few … Read entire article »

Conduit is playing unfair
I have posted the following text on Conduit’s forum but I am not sure they will let it live so I am also posting it here. I want people to know that Conduit is a “great” company. I have added a reply to this post: Any reason why my toolbar got removed / banned? Over $350 of unwithdrawn cash I was asking what happened, if the problem was solved, etc. In the next second, David Rubinstein, one of the administrators, removed my post. I cannot not wonder what was the true reason of doing this. I’ve sent a PM to David Rubinstein asking why was my post removed. Here is his response: Quote from: David Rubinstein on 22 aug 2010 at 08:22:49 AM Dear Joseph, We have removed your toolbar signature as it included link … Read entire article »
